The people of Maine are in desperate need of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. According to research by Pew, only 14% of the population identify as Evangelical Christians. In contrast, 24% of the population admits that they believe “nothing in particular.”
It is within this context that the Gospel of Jesus Christ powerfully speaks truth, hope, and peace into the lives of the residents of the greater Farmington area.
Grace Reformed Presbyterian began when a group of like-minded Christians started meeting for a Bible study in 2013. Today, GRPC is a mission work of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
We exist to worship God, our Creator and Redeemer; to build up the Body of Christ though biblical teaching and regular weekly worship; and to proclaim the free offer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people in Farmington and surrounding areas.
Micah Bickford grew up in Maine, just south of Farmington. Micah’s journey towards pastoral ministry began when he heard a chapel message as a freshman in college that called men to pursue pastoral ministry. From that point on, God’s calling and providence has worked to bring Micah to serve as pastor of Grace Reformed Presbyterian Church in Farmington, Maine.
After college, Micah earned an M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary. Micah was ordained as the church planting pastor of Grace Reformed Presbyterian Church in 2021 by the Presbytery of New York and New England of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
Micah and his wife, Eileen, have three children. Together, they enjoy exploring God’s beautiful creation in all four seasons.
